There is only one state, Palestine 48
Picture this: Oranienplatz, a bustling square in Germany’s capital, Berlin, engulfed by a sea of rage. Hundreds of voices fused into a chilling chorus bellowing for the annihilation of Israel, the Jewish state, and the glorification of Hamas, the monsters who butchered Jews. If you’re Israeli, Jewish, or simply someone who believes in decency, what happened yesterday should chill you to the bone. It’s not a demonstration. It’s a war cry against everything Israel stands for, and Germany, a nation that once promised “never again,” sat by and did nothing.
“There is only one solution, there is only one state, Palestine 48!” they chanted. This chant calls for the erasure of Israel, the refuge established in 1948 from the ashes of the Holocaust, to be replaced by a Jew-free ‘Palestine’ stretching from the Jordan River to the Mediterranean Sea. They doubled down in Arabic: “Min el-mayeh lil-mayeh, Falastin Arabiyeh!” From the water to the water, Palestine is Arab. No Israel. No Jews.
Nothing but an empty void where Jewish cities, synagogues, and lives once stood. This is not a dream of statehood; it’s a fantasy of genocide. Then, the mask came off entirely. “Ezz Al-Din Al Qassam Brigades!” they chanted, calling out the name of Hamas’s murderers as if it were a badge of honor. These are the same terrorists who, on October 7, 2023, stormed into Israel, slaughtered 1,200 people, including grandparents, babies, and festival-goers, and dragged 251 souls into Gaza’s hell.
And yesterday, in Berlin, there was a celebratory crowd for it.
This is not “resistance.” This is the worship of bloodshed.
And the horror didn’t stop there. “There is but one solution, Intifada, Intifada! Long live the Intifada, long live the resistance!” Intifada, the plague that haunts Israel. The bus blowing up days, the cafes turned into graveyards. They’re not wistful; they’re hoping for it to happen again. A new wave of terror to bury the Jewish state in blood.
Where were the police? Watching. Silent. Useless. No arrests. No crackdowns. No tear gas. Just an empty space for spewing hate, celebrating terrorism and inciting violence in broad daylight. Germany has laws, good laws, against antisemitism, against glorifying terror, against incitement. But yesterday, those laws were paper tigers. The mob was in charge, and the Jewish community was given the message loud and clear: your security does not matter.
In a country that once sent Jews into cattle cars, a new generation now chants for Israel’s destruction, and the government stretches. Hamas, a group that thrives on Jewish blood, gets a megaphone in the heart of the West. If this doesn’t wake the world up, nothing will. October 7 was not an isolated event; it was a warning. Berlin proved that the enemy wasn’t in hiding; they were marching.
This is not “pro-Palestinian”; it’s anti-Jewish, anti-Israel, anti-human. The same horror that once wore swastikas now marches in keffiyehs and slogans.”
Germany, you swore, “never again.” You rebuilt your nation on that vow. So why are you letting history’s whisper turn into a deafening roar? Israel is strong; it always will be. But the world is watching, and Jews are praying for allies to stand against this poison.
Yesterday, Berlin’s streets were not merely a protest but a breach.
Of the Jewish people. Of Germany’s redemption.
Of all the lessons humanity promised, it had learned.
