To Infinity and Beyond

Now that the EU has publicly proclaimed what it regards as the definitive boundaries of Israel proper, this apparent ‘bombshell’ of an oft-declared position has now become the cause of some serious consternation in Israeli political and economic circles.

But, instead of viewing this as a move biased solely against Israeli interests and one not to be countenanced under any circumstances, why not see beyond the policy’s present limitations and remodel it in such a fashion that everyone might benefit as a result.

As a worldwide basis for a new kind of Israeli-Palestinian peace initiative, this would have all the characteristics of a done deal and could then be fully implemented in very rapid order. (Mr. Kerry, please note for future reference.)

There can be times in this world when the mere redefining of certain insurmountable problems can release remedial forces of magnitudes never before thought possible.

And, for some problems, these magnitudes will need to border very much on or near the infinite.
