True News for Likud Jews
Journalist Avi Issacharoff has analyzed the results and effects of the recent Israeli-Hamas “war” in a clear statement that even Likud party members can understand. His analysis is called “An Escalation that achieved nothing and a ceasefire that won’t hold”. Can anything be clearer than that?
Every detailed word is true news. Nothing has been achieved by the rampage, by the bombing, by the deaths. And this ceasefire, like the many which proceeded it, will not hold. It will begin again when the guy with his finger on the trigger accidentally sneezes !
How many ceasefires have been agreed upon and violated in the last twelve years? Let me count the ways. (a tribute to Robert Browning).
Issacharoff is 100% correct and Netanyahu is 100% incorrect. Two versions of the same event but only one version is true. And that version is not Netanyahu’s.
More true news for Likud Jews, not related to Hamas or Gaza.
For the past few years prior to Yom HaAtzmaut (Israel’s independence day) a memorial ceremony for the fallen in battles (Israelis and Palestinians) is held in a joint solemn expression of grief.
In 2018, 90 Palestinian mourners had been cleared for entry into Israel to join with fellow mourners. Prime Minister & Minister of Defense, Binyamin Netanyahu refused to permit them to enter. But our High Court of Justice intervened and ruled that the Palestinian mourners should be allowed to join with Israeli Jews at the somber ceremony.
This year, 126 Palestinians had been approved for entry to participate in the annual mourning ceremony and once again Netanyahu held up the finger of protest.
The case, just brought again before the High Court, has ruled that their unanimous verdict of 2018 still holds in validity and Justice Amit criticized Netanyahu for violating the decision of the court.
Prime Minister Netanyahu furiously condemned the unanimous verdict and stated that the High Court has no authority to overturn a decision made by the Likud party.
It has become a battle of words between an unjust prime minister and three Justices of the highest court in the land.
This verbal battle gives unwanted ammunition to the firebrand member of the Knesset, Betzalel Smotrich, who intends to initiate a law which, if passed (God forbid), would reduce the powers of the courts and the Supreme Court and would not permit judges and Justices to interfere with political decisions of the Knesset.
Our courts of justice are the one place in our country where there is no corruption. Decisions are not made in favor of or against any political party or individual. Decisions are made solely on the basis of law.
The Likud party under leadership (?) of a corrupt prime minister seethes in anger and feels that the High Court’s verdicts and decisions shackle them with chains which prevent them from undemocratic actions.
This is the TRUE news that Likud does not like to hear. This is the TRUE news which exemplifies Israel’s bond with the law, humanity, and justice for all.
Maybe Netanyahu has been infected with America’s Trump and his frequent declarations concerning the “fake news” which he totally rejects.
We are not America and Netanyahu is neither our king nor emperor, much as he likes to envision himself. The house on Balfour street in Jerusalem is not Israel’s White House. That special place is called Bet HaNasi, the Presidential Residence.
Avi Issacharoff’s analysis of the war which will continue for more unhappy years to come should be read by those readers who want to learn the truth.
The real and honest truth. Not the “truth” of Likud’s Netanyahu.
Unfortunately most Likudniks, in order to keep their Knesset seats warm, are obligated to get their news from the yellow journalism of the daily “Bibi Tribune”, while the rest of us good and loyal Israelis recite kaddish for the death of our once democratic country.
Yitgadal v’yitkadash Shmai raba!
