US President Donald Trump has been called a lot of things. But in all simplicity, he’s basically a capitalist manager.
For those who oppose major parts of his policies, it is important to understand how these kinds of executives get rid of subordinates with opinions.
- They take an extreme position. Every worker who protests gets fired.
- They tone down the proposal and so portray themselves as more moderate than the “extremists” that they fired.
- Now they can work with a cleaned-out staff of only loyalists and deciles. Mission completed.
Many workers at the State Department do not seem to understand this. Replicating the mistake by top federal government lawyer Sally Yates, they are committing hara-kiri: State Department officials sign a protesting petition against Trump.
Don’t get me wrong – it’s high time that someone cleans out the arrogant anti-Zionist stables that the State Department have been for decades – a State within the State. But we don’t want the anti-racism people or feminists to go.
So all civil servants who work under Trump: Watch your mouths if you want to be able to continue to use the influence that your position gives you. If you opened your mouth too widely, saying sorry often helps. As Queen Esther shows us, it’s better to work for the right cause than resigning or being fired for it.
In other words: I completely agree with Alan Dershowitz in his IS THE US OFFICIAL WHO REFUSED TO DEFEND TRUMP’S TRAVEL BAN A HERO OR A VILLAIN?
