Trump’s Gaza Approach Echoes Dr. Zamani’s Holistic Vision for Stability in Gaza

Trump’s Gaza Strategy mirrors the Scriptural Abrahamic Accord, Separating Isaac and Ishmael, Rejecting the Two-State Solution, and Endorsing Canaan as Belonging to Isaac’s Lineage

On October 30, 2024, in The Times of Israel, I described in detail, Dr. Tanveer Zamani’s holistic vision for Gaza and regional stability, outlining a pragmatic path toward peace. Her vision emphasized the prudence and sovereignty of the Promised Land of Greater Israel and its expansion, with the indivisible capital of Jerusalem. It has sparked much discussion and closely aligns with President Trump’s proposal presented in a press conference with Prime Minister Netanyahu on February 5, 2025.

I’m pleased to see that Trump’s plan reflects Dr. Zamani’s perspective, which I first outlined last year in a series of three articles. Her core principles—prioritizing lives over land and advocating for the migration of Palestinians to neighboring Muslim-majority countries to escape the devastating cycle of war and militant entrapment—are clearly echoed in his approach to Gaza.

However, I must clarify that neither President Trump nor Dr. Zamani have presented their own ideologies, contrary to the assumptions and reactions circulating globally. Rather, their approach is in compliance with the strategy outlined for Abraham by God’s command.

The Overlapping Visions: Redefining GAZA

Zamani’s published perspective was based on a five-phase approach:

  • Rehabilitation – Clearing & securing Gaza with controlled access and biometric identification.
  • Reconstruction – Developing infrastructure to rebuild Gaza as a thriving economic hub.
  • Restoration – Encouraging global intellectual & spiritual exchanges while deterring damages.
  • Reconciliation – Promoting interfaith coexistence and education.
  • Reemergence Deterrence – Ensuring Militancy never regains control.

Trump’s current strategy mirrors these principles. Reports indicate he envisions Gaza’s transformation into a Mecca-style tourism and economic center, governed not by militants but by those committed to progress. Like Zamani, he emphasizes permanent relocation or migration as an immediate solution for Palestinian civilians to escape war-torn conditions and reestablish their lives in safer Muslim-majority nations, her idea was disliked by Islamic world but now viewed as a pragmatic necessity.

Saving Lives Over Land

Zamani’s proposal wasn’t only about displacement but prioritizing survival. She urged Islamic leaders to advocate for migration, instead of using Palestinian civilians as human shields for militant agendas. If this approach had been considered in 2024, Palestinian families might have been spared the suffering they endure today. Now, not only is the land devastated, but entire generations have been lost, an irreversible tragedy.

Trump’s current approach reinforces this painful truth: a planned, dignified migration could have preserved Palestinian lives while laying the groundwork for Gaza’s reconstruction. Global leaders must view such proposals not as betrayal, but as an opportunity for survival and renewal.

The Sovereignty of the Sacred Land

Zamani also envisioned a future where Jerusalem remains the indivisible capital of Greater Israel, with Muslims/Palestinians granted annual pilgrimage rights to Mosque Al-Aqsa on a regulated pilgrim short stay visa similar to how Muslims go on pilgrimage to Mecca. Trump’s vision aligns with this, proposing a Mecca model where Gaza and Jerusalem become global religious and economic hubs, for trade and tourism, while maintaining Israel’s Sovereignty.

The Fundamental Truth: The Scriptural Abraham Accord Endorses Trump’s Approach

The Scriptural Abrahamic Accord narrates that when Abraham’s fathered Ishmael and Isaac through Hagar and Sarah. He deliberately, with the command of God, permanently relocated Ishmael with Hager to the barren valley of Mecca, while Isaac remained in Canaan, the land divinely promised to his lineage. This historical and divine distinction, commanded by God, set in motion a separation that remains foundational to the Abrahamic strategy. Recorded in both the Quranic and Biblical scriptures, it affirms that Bani Israel (Children of Israel), Jews, and Christians rightfully inherit this land, while Ishmael’s descendants, the Arab-Muslims, were divinely assigned to Mecca.

The Quranic ordain of the Qibla shift for Muslims from Jerusalem to Mecca further affirms that Jerusalem holds no claim for Muslims as a religious center. As articulated in Zamani’s perspective, published in The Times of Israel, the two-state solution must be denounced because it contradicts the principles outlined in the Abrahamic Accord. The genuine, original Abrahamic Accord does not support a two-state solution but instead aligns with the current approach advocated by Trump, emphasizing the rightful inheritance of land by Isaac’s lineage and the need for stability through pragmatic solutions like non-Israelis’ migration and reconstruction without militant interruption.

Arabs, therefore, have no standing in the land of Canaan, and ‘Philistine’ is a Hebrew word meaning coastal invaders or temporary settlers from the Aegean Greek Islands. Both scripture and history affirm its rightful inheritance by Isaac’s lineage. They have no legitimate say in rejecting Trump’s vision for Gaza and Jerusalem, nor the authority to contest a reality that aligns with religious precedent. Canaan is not their land, nor is it their decision to make.

This fundamental truth was clearly articulated in my other article published in The Times of Israel on October 09, 2024. Yet, world leaders have continuously ignored these historical realities only to now witness the inevitable unfolding before their eyes.

Gaza’s new beginning as a center of world trade and tourism

The Islamic world disliked Zamani’s vision when it was first published, dismissing it as unrealistic. Yet today, Trump is implementing nearly the same plan. The real tragedy is that the delay has cost thousands of innocent lives. Had the Palestinian leadership embraced a structured migration and development strategy earlier, Gaza could already be on the path to prosperity instead of ruin. Muslim leaders must reevaluate past rejections and recognize that survival and dignity should take precedence over territorial claims. Gaza’s future, as envisioned by Trump, can still be one of prosperity, not an endless war.

A Critical Crossroads for Muslim Leadership

Choosing Peace or Perpetuating Rivalry: The moment has come for a reality check for the Islamic world: Muslim leaders must decide whether to act for peace, reflecting Islam’s true spirit, and embrace the migration of Palestinians warmly, following Prophet Muhammad’s legacy (Sunnah) from Mecca to Medina, showing that no place is holier than a believer’s life. Alternatively, they may continue to manipulate Palestinians in their rivalry with Jews, perpetuating the devastating cycle of history.

Everyone who has been observing the situation in Gaza since October 7, 2023, must wholeheartedly embrace President Trump’s offer, as it represents a much-needed breath of fresh air for Gaza. Their protests reveal that their focus is more on rivalry with Jews than on supporting the safe migration and peaceful survival of the Palestinians
