Tulsi Gabbard, whose side are you on?

I understand how important this election is, even to the point of voting blue no matter who. Getting Trump out of office is that important. I respect all Democratic candidates, but I feel there’s just a few things I need to get off my chest, especially with some of your methods.

First, from one Veteran to another I would like to thank you for your service. There are issues and policies that I don’t agree with. My concern is you question the DNC and your voice being heard at the Democratic debate. What I have a particular problem with, is that you go on Fox News, especially, Tucker Carlson to bash Democrats and the DNC. The equivalent of this is like you going behind enemy lines and giving them information on your unit. You are figuratively giving the enemy ammo to use in the general election.

I respect that you want the DNC to be a clean cut organization, I admit I am a new Democrat that still has a lot to learn about our Party. But there’s no justifiable reason to go on Fox and do what you did. There are plenty of anti-Democratic news outlets out there that you could have had your voice heard. The Young Turks is one of them, and I have been enjoying listening to their commentary since I switched parties. I do think you should apologize to the party tomorrow night at the debate this way you can earn the trust of The Democratic Party. If you win in 2020, you will need them behind you.
