U.S. to Iran: How do you spell relief?
Trump is giving Iran’s regime an offer it can’t refuse.
With bombers in position ready to attack, with new sanctions tightening the screws, with a leaked report that the U.S. is holding back Israel from bombing Iran, and with Arab nations supporting this peace initiative, Iran is now asking. “Where do I sign?”
The prospects for peace look promising. By reportedly offering to construct peaceful nuclear facilities for them (with the provisio that Iran must give up its enrichment capabilities, and instead will receive uranium from other countries), Trump is allowing the regime to save face, while providing its citizenry with much-needed electricity.
A deal would mean sanction withdrawal and new foreign investment, which would revive Iran’s economy. A system of stringent inspections can reassure Israel and others that the deal will be strictly implemented.
Peace beckons. A region that has gone through so much turmoil is now on the threshold of tranquility and prosperity. And Israel, a tiny nation surrounded by hungry lions, sees the possibility of lions lying down peacefully with the lamb.
A new era may be about to dawn, benefiting all mankind, as we witness the laying down of weapons, turning swords into plowshares.
A time when all nations will acknowledge how the Almighty is orchestrating events, a time when all will acknowledge His dominion and majesty. A time of Redemption with Moshiach.
May it happen very soon.
