US elections and other events
The world waits to see who will win the US election, and how it will affect America and the world.
Iran threatens to attack Israel and America. The US has moved more bombers into the Middle East. If Iran attacks before the elections, it could impact them. And people wonder what Israel and the US might do. Will Iran’s nuclear facilities, oil fields, and leadership be attacked? Will a strong attack against Iran enable and encourage Iranians to rise up against the regime?
Questions. Many questions and thoughts about what will happen.
Someone once told his friend that he had so many worries. “What are you worried about?” the friend asked.
“I need $5,000 for my son’s wedding. And I need $1.000 for the dentist. And 2,000 for the doctor. And 3,000 for the rent. And 1,000 for the electricity bill. And 1,000 for food. And 2,000 to repair the car. I have so many worries.”
“Let’s see,” said his friend. You need altogether $15,000. That’s great.”
“How is that great?”
“Because now you don’t have so many worries. You only have one worry — how to get $15,000.”
Instead of so many worries about the election and Iran and all the ramifications, we can all take a deep breath and relax and entertain just one comforting thought: G-d is running the world. He knows what He is doing. And we can trust in Him to take care of everything.
Indeed we gave been witnessing wondrous miracles, as Israel defeats her enemies, and the world is unable to stop Israel, and the U.S. and other countries, including Arab countries, are helping the Jewish people.
The Almighty is orchestrating everything by Divine providence. And we can be optimistic and trust that He will continue to run things in a way that is beneficial for the world.
There’s an expression: I’m an old man with many worries, most of which never happened.
The future holds promise of good tidings. World peace and the Redemption with Moshiach is very close. G-d is running the world, and we can all relax, as we wait and look forward to the good things to come.
