Vessels and Sacrifice

My brain is open to signs, messages and coincidences that magically align and I know that it is a beautiful connection that was meant to be, and now is clear. One post was about how when things go wrong, it could be a completely new beginning and possibility. Another person was asking for everyone to close their eyes and tell him yes or no about something important he did not want to reveal yet. For me it was a clear no, I felt a block, and it was interesting to see a variety of answers. Some people said yes, some gave a list of reasons that he could think about and then make a decision, while other were saying that our own personal experience could cloud our response.

Last weeks Parsha Vayikra was my youngest son’s Bar Mitzvah, he Leined, sang the whole Torah portion. It was so beautiful and he was so confident. The Rabbi and Rebbetzin said he did not miss one word, and the few friends and community that he wanted there were in awe. The main subject was about specific sacrifices and all the details and laws of purity. The in depth meaning is about sacrificing our animal instincts, in order to be open to connect higher and serve our purpose in this world. I was dreaming that my son may become the first Rabbi of our family.

When we sacrifice, it is hard at first, but we create a space for light and clarity. The bigger the vessel the more that could fit into it. We are enjoying our family, friends and community in Los Angeles. Many emotions, and complete trust of God’s plan. Excited for Passover and to spiritually connect deeper to our roots and our path.

חג פסח כשר ושמח

Wishing everyone a beautiful holiday
