we have learned NOTHING

Let’s play a game…guess when these events happened:

1. In Germany, a crowd shouted “Gas the Jews”

2. In Paris, a crowd shouted “Die Jews Die”

3. In NYC, a crowd shouted “Kill the Jews”

4. In Paris, synagogues were attacked and people trapped inside.

If you think these events happened in the 1930s, you are wrong. All of these events happened in the last two weeks. These disgusting acts of antisemitism were done by people claiming to be Pro Palestinian. I am not sure how being Pro Palestinian equals wanting all Jews dead. Israel is a multicultural country. Its citizens are not just Jews. You cannot shout the things like these people did and do what they did and say “I am only protesting against Israel”. If you shout these things and do these things, you are an Anti Semite.

It disgusts me to think there are people out there who think these things. I had hoped that we learned something from the past. Obviously, we did not. And that makes me fearful for the future.
