We need a smart society or we’re done
US President believes the regional war can be avoided. It’s time to prepare for the regional war, then. Joe Biden’s track record doesn’t exactly inspire confidence – just look at Ukraine and other conflicts around the world. Look at the hostage deal. Oh, wait. No deal. This is the guy telling you that the regional war can be avoided. The world is in a big mess, because we don’t have leaders, just book keepers. Trump? Harris? This is the best the US can do, apparently. We need Solomon the wise to weather this storm. You might have heard of the movie Idiocracy. Well, look at the scenes from Idiocracy and look at what’s going on now in politics and elsewhere. In Idiocracy, your average US soldier wakes up in the year 2500 (Christian calendar). Nothing works in that society because, well, it’s a society of idiots. Even the way he talks is mocked by the locals. He’s just too smart. That’s pretty much what’s going on now. Smart people with vast vocabularies who know how to string more than two sentences together must dumb themselves down to be understood and accepted by the fools around them who, oh-how-typical, see themselves as smart. Look at the so-called public intellectuals. Hardly intellectuals, huh? Exactly. Well, the world gets the public intellectuals it deserves. I’m not going to whine about it – pointless. I am so glad when I come across someone with a non-pedestrian mind. I appreciate it greatly, even if that person’s views differ vastly from mine. Variety is the spice of life, after all.
We talk about solutions to all the world’s ills but the main issue is as obvious as it is painful – stupid societies collapse. Smart societies thrive. All else – politics, education, and so on – stems from that. Do you think a smart society would let intellectually impaired individuals anywhere near the halls of power? Of course not. In a smart society, people like Dugin would be either the butt of jokes or some guy on a bus spouting nonsense no one takes seriously. A local folklore. The fact he’s now dangerously close (or so it’s believed by some) to Vladimir Putin goes to show how dire the situation is. It’s like having a mental patient at the top echelons of power. Even Russian propagandists call him crazy at times. As sickening as Russian propagandists are, I follow their logic. When Sergei Mardan spouts his genocidal rhetoric, as despicable as it is, he explains it clearly. Karaganov is another one. The guy talks about nukes and God wanting annihilation, sure, but he conveys his maniacal thoughts well. Dugin, on the other hand, is unable to explain things clearly, he’s full of contradictions, and it’s profoundly perplexing that he’d get so close to the Kremlin. And don’t give me that ”oh, you’re just too stupid to understand the profound wisdom of our great guru Dugin.” Please, save your breath and give me a break. At the risk of sounding pompous, I’m a pretty smart guy who knows nonsense masquerading as profound wisdom when he reads it. I know, I know. Some smart Alec is going to say now that, ”Yeah, stupid people often think they are smart.” Well, exactly. Look in the mirror, pal.
I don’t need to tell you there’s a stereotype that Jews are smart. Good. Be smart and be proud of it, because the world needs smart people or else we’re all going down the drain. And fast.
