We were saved

No question. Israel was saved.

It’s happened many times throughout our history.

We were saved from Egypt, taken out to be a nation.

We were saved throughout two thousand years of exile.

We were saved in the Six Day War.

We were saved in the Yom Kippur War. For three days the Egyptian army waited, while Israel gathered forces to counterattack. There was nothing stopping Egypt from advancing to Tel Aviv. But G-d confused them.

We were saved on October 7. It made perfect sense for Hezbollah to jump in and attack from the north. (They even had plans on how to conduct an attack like this.) The result would have been catastrophic. But they waited, and twenty-four hours later Israel had reinforcements at the Lebanese border.

We were saved, when pagers succeeded in decimating and demoralizing Hezbollah. With G-d’s blessing, Israeli ingenuity succeeded. (It was a close call, because Hezbollah became suspicious and were about to discover the hidden explosives.)

We were saved so many times in our history.

And we were promised that Israel would be given to Abraham, Isaac, Jacob and to Jacob’s descendants, as an inheritance, forever.

And the nations are learning and realizing, that Israel is not a pushover. The world is realizing, that G-d is protecting His people, in Israel and all over the world, including Columbia University, including Western countries where governments are stoping antisemitic thugs.

We were saved throughout history. And we were promised that Moshiach will redeem us.

Moshiach. A time when the entire world will acknowledge G-d’s presence.

Maybe, with the miracles that we are now seeing, the world is seeing, more and more, that G-d runs the world.

Maybe Moshiach is very close.

Redemption, when all will serve the Almighty. And when all will respect the Jewish people, and acknowledge their contribution as a light to the nations, teaching true morality, teaching the nations, that there is a G-d in the world.

We were saved. And the best, with Moshiach, is about to come.

May it happen very soon.
