Shalom! Pope Francis

Yesterday, Pope Francis announced his travel plans for visiting Israel, the West Bank, and Jordan in late May. More than any other Pope in recent history, Pope Francis is loved and revered. Known as the People’s Pope, he is ruffling more than a few feathers among right wing politicians and religious leaders. Some have even branded him a Marxist.

As the author of the German language book “Der Himmelsgarten“, a spiritual gardening Odyssey back into the Garden of Eden, I wish to confirm, that Pope Francis probably does have visions of  the kind of spiritual communism utopia implanted within the very Plan of Creation. Over the course of the past ten years I researched and analyzed various cultural, educational, and geo-political roots of gardening against the spiritual roots of my own Jewish tradition as revealed in the Wisdom of Kabbalah. The book is a 192 page spiritual metaphor for relating the Wisdom of the Hidden. Here is an excerpt from the introduction:

Legend has it that 2,000 years before the Creator created man, He created the great spiritual universe and mapped it out into 22 geo-spiritual quadrants. Each quadrant was root-fed with a unique combination of heavenly wisdom and heavenly heart. In my book I discuss how these depictions were sensed by the biblical patriarchs and later chronicled as the 22 Hebrew letters which were later combined into words, verses and books within the Bible. The horizontal aspects of the letters relate to the degree of heavenly godliness one feels in the heart and the vertical components signify the heavenly wisdom to attain a specific level towards attainment. Biblical words like grasses, rose, flower bud, water, land, roots tree, etc. contain embedded spiritual instructions to cleanse the heart and garden the spirit. This helps explain why people can feel spirituality while gardening. They are harmonizing with the original root feeding of the spiritual letters.

Given just how profoundly embedded gardening is in spirituality, the following citation will give you chilling insight as to how wicked the Nazi propaganda machine was.

 Given the opportunity, humankind has the innate ability to pervert and shroud even the most deeply rooted spiritual concepts. Case in point, the Agrarian Nazi propaganda of Blut und Boden, Blood and Land, became justification for starting World War II, and the extermination of six million Jews and other minorities. There is absolutely nothing wrong with engaging in the gardening ritual and using weeding as a physical prayer for rooting out inner weeds and unclogging one’s spiritual root connections. There is every wrong with weeding out minorities, with the demonic intention of rooting out Infidels. There is nothing wrong with governments ensuring universal access to gardening through allotment gardens, kindergartens, and Kabbalah Park gardens for inspiring its citizens to cleanse their souls and garden their spirits. There is everything wrong with expansionist terrorism ideologies in the name of religion. There is nothing wrong establishing infrastructure and social programs which allow people to unclog their spiritual roots, allowing spirits to rise into a spiritually vivified fabric of society, naturally, which occupy the peace. There is everything wrong with negotiators making backroom deals which impose peace on others, which at best allow virulent inner weeds to remain dormant, waiting for the first opportunity in the weave to pierce through.

Wouldn’t it be great if the Pope could create spiritual gardening moment that would be televised around the world? Just imagine the imagery of  Pope Francis tugging on and rooting out a virulent weed of hatred together with children of Christian, Moslem, and Jewish faiths as the ultimate expression of love. Just imagine the possibilities of  Israel and Arab Nations pooling their combined horticultural wisdom and wealth for creating a network of Spiritual Gardens Park Gardens throughout the Middle East. This would create natural foundation for peace; weed  fields where children could tug and root out symbolic weeds of hate together and  fields where sunflower seeds could be sown in their hearts and their gardens. Park visitors would exit these parks with finely tuned perception of the broader reality, inner transformation, and a redirected intention. The redistribution of wealth would be natural and spiritual and this heavenly intention would pollinate around the world. Just the kind of Miracle you could pray for according to the deepest roots of Tu Beshvat.
