From the news media: CNN poll: Over 20% of Europeans say Jews have ‘too much influence’ worldwide. Survey across 7 countries finds over a third know little or nothing about Holocaust, while 32% say Jews use genocide’s memory to advance their interests.
Yes, that is true, we the Jews have too much influence in the world, as compared to many other nations, and we are using the memory of Holocaust to advance our interests. The problem is not with these well-known facts – the problem is with the definition of “too much influence” and of “their interests.”
The people who don’t like the Jews (not all of them are the anti-Semites) define all that negatively: the Jews are using their influence to gain the power that let them enrich themselves by “robbing” the others. Of course, there are some among the Jewish Nation who are guilty of that. However, the entire Jewish Nation is not guilty as described by the Jew-haters.
The entire Jewish Nation is using its “too much influence” to guide the human creative efforts towards “their interests” where “their” means everyone’s, the Jewish and non-Jewish. Why? It is so because the Jewish understanding of their role in this world as the Chosen (hypothetically, from some Supreme Power above us the humans through the genetics with the reinforcement by Jewish education) guides them to increase their influence in the world to advance the interests of all. How may you increase your influence in the world? Everybody knows HOW – by amassing your political and economic affluence. If you don’t have “too much influence” you cannot change anything, and you can help nobody.
Without this “too much Jewish influence” and without advancing “their Jewish interests,” those who negatively view the Jewish presence in our world would not have what they enjoy now – better earnings, better housing, better food, better education, better medicine, better … almost everything.
Just a thought
We the Jews fear the perception of the non-Jews that we have “too much influence” used to advance “our own interests.” It might be better for us the Jews not to fight this perception but rather agree with it and explain that the more influence we have the better is for all.
