My dear Jewish community,

I would like to wish you a happy and blessed New Year, and greetings for all the upcoming holidays. May the year ahead be filled with many blessings, and may it bring opportunities for reflection, learning, and growth, so that the coming year will be even better and brighter.

As we move through this season, we have just celebrated Rosh Hashanah and now approach Yom Kippur. These are not only holidays on the calendar – but they are also moments that invite us to pause, to look inward, and to ask ourselves where we are going in life.

When we look at the world around us today, many of us sense that we are living in difficult times or at least entering a period where uncertainty will shape much of what lies ahead. That reality can feel heavy, but it can also remind us of how deeply we need one another. We need to stand in Unity. First of all, Jewish people around the world needs to unite, but also people who stand with Jewish communities.

According to the Torah, Rosh Hashanah and Yom Kippur are sacred times for teshuvah – returning to God, reflecting on our actions, and striving to live righteously. The Torah teaches us to examine our behavior, to acknowledge our mistakes, and to make amends where we have caused harm. These holidays remind us that every person has the power to change, to repair relationships, and to grow spiritually. They call on us to act with justice, compassion, and integrity, and to align our lives more closely with the values that God has given us. Through prayer, self-reflection, and acts of kindness, we are invited to renew ourselves and prepare for a year filled with blessing and purpose.

May people of God be blessed forever!

Shana Tova U’Metuka!
