Danny Roth is helping build greater trade and deal flow between Israel and China.
His China Israel Exchange develops programs and initiatives with government, academia, and industry, with the goal of strengthening the economic and cultural ties with both nations.
The company was founded in 2014 by Roth, who is Chairman, and Amir Gal-Or, the Founder and Managing Partner of Infinity Group, which is considered to be the leading cross-border, innovation investment platform between China and Israel.
Focusing on digital health, Roth has an upcoming road show of Israeli companies that is taking place next to Alibaba’s headquarters in Hangzhou. Taking place on June 6 and 7, the program will feature 16 Israeli companies in IoT (Internet of Things) and digital health. There will be 70+ Chinese investors and companies present. Notable speakers from Israel include Saul Singer, co-author of Startup Nation. A visit to Alibaba headquarters will be scheduled for selected Israeli companies.
Companies taking part include: Medivizor, Eco-Fusion, Spring Biomed Vision, C.D.I. Systems for their digital content management solution to the European Directorate for the Quality of Medicines and Healthcare, and among others HeraMED which recently raised a large seed round investment from a local Hangzhou investor. Mobileye will also present their Smart Transportation solution for the IoT track.
The event will mark the launch of a brand new China Israel Innovation Center in Hangzhou, a permanent facility which will showcase Israeli technology roadshows and host events for business and cultural exchange between the two countries.
