A Christmas Message to Two Presidents

Dear President Biden,
You’ve heard this many times before from Israelis and Americans, I am both; Thank you. As many times as it has been said, it is not enough. Trying to find a new way to say to you, thank you for being a partner, a humanist. Taking into account the religious sensibilities of all sides in the area, there is no doubt Mr. President, to paraphrase; you saved our brisket, took our kneidlach out of the soup, and our falafels out of the oil. The people of Israel know it and the Jewish people know it. Anyone who denies it is a fool, a liar, perhaps a Republican, or as shameful as it is to admit, perhaps an Israeli politician with an Agenda.

Thank you for your empathy and your efforts to free all the Hostages.

Merry Christmas to you and your family. Happy New Year! Enjoy 2025 and many years of well-deserved good health and good fortune.

Dear President-Elect Trump,

Congratulations on your most impressive victory at the Polls. Likewise to you, good health for you and good fortune for America and Israel.

Peace on Earth, Good Will to All Men, except Bibi and the Banshee.

With the greatest of respect for your achievements and savvy, as one NYer to another, even though you got a great looking haircut now and may be looking to make some style changes, please for a little bit longer be the famous and infamous Donald Trump and tell Bibi; YOU’RE FIRED. Make believe he’s a business owner in Atlantic City and you want his property for your casino. He deserves it.

His one and only interest; that his trial never reaches the verdict stage. To that end he fosters the continuation of the war and the captivity of the hostages, the deaths of hostages and soldiers. His strategies failed and he takes credit for the tactics and good work of others, namely the IDF. He and his government are truly cowardly and incompetent, refusing to allow a judicial investigation of Oct. 7th. They have spoiled so much, their corruption is criminal, but you know all that and you know who Bibi is. Do you really want a wounded, painfully divided and very unhappy pariah state with a completely disingenuous and untrustworthy manager in temporary control as an ally? I never thought I would say this about Israel, but why put a healthy head into a sick bed?
He is an obstacle to a better future because just like every wanna-be potentate, he will always put himself above the rest, think he is smarter than the rest, even smarter than you Sir, so he will think. Israel can heal itself, but not with him in place. We don’t want to live with him anymore, you don’t want to have to associate with him.

Everyone knows that at this time of the year there are miracles on 34th Street, and George Bailey can lasso the moon, I know you can’t dismiss him or kick him out of Balfour, but you also don’t have to invite him to the White House.
