A Healthy Breakup

Relationships can be great but there may come a time when you both know that the relationship has to come to an end.

When you break up with your partner, you sometimes lose a best friend. Sometimes after a break up the two individuals just separate and never speak to each other again unless there is a child involved. However, there are cases where both can remain friends.

A healthy breakup occurs when both individuals in the relationship mutually agree to end it, listening to each other’s reasons, getting the closure that you need, and maintaining respect for one another. Understanding, and a desire to remain friends. It involves recognizing that the relationship has served its purpose and that it is time to move on while cherishing the growth and positive experiences with each other.

When both sides decide to mutually break up together and still be friends, it shows maturity and that you both care for one another.  It’s important to remember that growth and self-discovery often happen through our relationships. We have to have Bitachon and Emunah, accept that everything happens for a reason, and it’s all from Hashem. There is a purpose behind every encounter. Sometimes, relationships are meant to help us grow. We meet someone who challenges us, supports us, and encourages us to become the best versions of ourselves, they teach us important life lessons and provide experiences.

Understanding that the person you met came into your life to teach you a lesson is a positive mindset. The idea of impacting each other’s lives, growing together, and supporting each other’s paths even after the breakup is a beautiful characteristic trait. It shows care and affection for one another.

While maintaining a friendship after a breakup is possible, allowing yourselves time and space is important. Everyone’s healing process is unique so be patient. By embracing the positive aspects of the relationship and accepting the role it played in your journey, you can move forward with a sense of gratitude and openness to new experiences. To a new chapter. Have Emunah and trust in Hashem’s journey for us.

DON’T LOSE YOUR EMUNAH!!
