A Jewish atheist boycotts Jewish settlements
He doesn’t believe in G-d. He married a non-Jew. And he is sanctioning Jewish settlements in Israel.
At the beginning of his speech, Ed Miliband spoke about the Holocaust, how he lost 60 members of his family who were killed by Hitler’s Nazis.
Hitler wanted to destroy the Jewish people G-d forbid. He wanted to destroy them physically, and thereby destroy their strong monotheistic belief. The way to fight against Hitler, is to marry and create more Jewish generations. The way to fight against Hitler, is to strongly proclaim our belief in G-d and His Torah.
Ed Miliband intermarried. Ed Miliand declared that he is an atheist. When someone like that declares that he’s going to fight against Jewish settlements in Israel, and uses the holocaust as a preamble to this, then we need to carefully examine the person who’s doing this.
When someone intermarries, he doesn’t care about Jewish continuity. When someone says that he is an atheist, he doesn’t care about Jewish devotion to G-d. When someone does this, and then talks about Hitler’s Holocaust to justify why he’s now fighting against us, then such a person‘s motivation clearly becomes suspect.
Ed Miliband, it’s not too late to come back to your people and their religion. Now as Rosh Hashana, the Jewish New Year, approaches, it’s a good time to think carefully about who you are, about your Jewish identity, about your Jewish roots, about those who perished in the holocaust.
Now, Ed Miliband, is a good time to come back to your people.
