A letter to friends on Rosh Hashana

My dear friends in the USA and Britain who sincerely support the Palestinian cause:

IF, you and your friends genuinely want to do something for the Palestinians, now is the time. Your President is cutting off funding for schools well the kids might not die from that, but hospitals?

CUT , CUT , CUT , because it doesn’t serve the interests of the American People to continue to help them, so who will?
Jordan, the Gulf States, Russia? In the end Israel will give them medical supplies, what hypocrisy!

I was always against UNWRA and the whole idea of keeping people in camps. It has NOT DESTROYED ISRAEL it is an aberration. That money should have gone to the countries where they found themselves, to help the economy of the HOST country and so absorb the refugees. “They” kept up the farce to bring Israel down, but it did the opposite. Created untold misery and not a small amount of corruption within the camps. Please, thinking people it’s up to you.
We have since it is a “Jewish obligation,” absorbed millions of Jews who were in trouble whatever….who paid for that? The Brits gave German Jews, who sought refuge during WW2 citizenship. They contributed to British Society. The rest of the world is now also paying the piper. There are refugees in abundance, who in their hearts long for their countries of origin, in other words, their homeland. They are everywhere and that’s nothing to do with JEWS.

On this our holiday of new beginnings, I am sick with disgust at all the hypocrisy. Those here, who preach the most about the sanctity of man of the human being in the image of GOD. Man(woman) who can do anything and everything, for the betterment of mankind. Our present leaders and their Rabbi’s, are amongst those who sew hate of “the other” or denial of their rights and so on.

Every human being is born in the same way. It is the society which shapes him/her, or religion. Intelligence and the technological advances (good sense or seichel as Jews say) should make it possible for most to have reasonable lives. Not to force millions to sheer misery. Millions of ordinary people.
So on this day which I really feel connected to for what I consider the right reason. As one of those/our people, who have contributed positively on every level, to society as a whole, I want my people to think. Think about what is going on and to deplore not praise Trump and his ilk for causing more undeserved suffering to those already paying a price which beggars description. To my fellow countrymen and women and our neighbours I hope that this Jewish New Year will be the beginning of NEW BEGINNINGS and celebrate this hope with the world.
