A Moment of War for a Lifetime of Peace in Gaza
Recently, Israel’s Prime Minister, Benjamin Netanyahu, confirmed that the state of Israel will soon attempt to assume control of Gaza, in an effort to liberate the region and its people from Hamas’ savage tyranny and terrorism.
Predictably, Israel has already been emphatically condemned by a diverse array of political actors and pro-Palestinian ‘allies’.
For instance, the United Nations (UN) has warned that “a complete military takeover would risk catastrophic consequences” and the United Kingdom (UK)’s Ambassador has branded Israel’s upcoming foray into Gaza as “a huge mistake“.
And yet, despite the fact that the state of Israel has been crucified for its uncompromising effort to liberate Gaza and its people from Hamas’ terrorism, it is clear that Israel’s impending offensive represents the only path forward towards freedom and hope in Gaza.
In fact, it is readily apparent that the state of Israel must eradicate Hamas and begin to itself administer the Gaza Strip, in order to achieve any enduring peace in Gaza and a viable future for the Palestinian people.
Firstly, for over a decade, Hamas has savagely oppressed the people of Gaza and brutally deprived every Gazan of their most basic needs.
For example, Hamas’ leaders routinely refuse to pay for electricity in Gaza, in order to, instead, misappropriate the funds towards their own hellish military endeavors and attacks against the Jewish people.
In addition, over the course of the past decade, Hamas’ leadership has violently stolen and embezzled the overwhelming majority of all international aid and funding, in order to grotesquely enrich themselves and viciously attack Israel. In fact, the United Nations itself was recently forced to confirm that nearly 90% of the UN aid that enters Gaza is forcibly intercepted by “armed actors” and their accompanying bands of “hungry people”, well before it reaches any of its intended recipients in Gaza.
In truth, virtually every Palestinian throughout Gaza has been left utterly bereft of vital infrastructure, as well as countless basic necessities, such as clean drinking water, food, schools, and hospitals, due to the fact that “Hamas allocates 55% of its budget to fund its military needs and…less than 5%…[of its budget towards] the rehabilitation of Gaza…”
Moreover, since the advent of its savage regime in 2007, Hamas has eagerly precluded various vulnerable populations and minorities in Palestine from their fundamental human rights and freedoms.
For instance, Hamas has rendered homosexuality completely illegal in Gaza, and any suspected homosexual is inevitably arraigned and slaughtered by Hamas or their compatriots. In fact, LGBTQ+ Palestinians are actually frequently forced to escape from Palestine to the State of Israel, in order to live safely, openly, and freely.
Furthermore, women throughout Gaza have long been explicitly divorced from various fundamental human rights, and girls of all ages are routinely brutalized and forced into marriages against their will. Sadly, women and girls in Gaza are also frequently the subject of ‘honor killings’ at the behest of Hamas, and, from 2015-2020, the total number of femicides in Palestine actually increased by more than 100%.
In addition, for over a decade, Hamas’ leaders have violently persecuted any free speech in Gaza and openly murdered any person who has dared to question or at all contradict Hamas’ terrorist ideology and tyrannical decrees. In fact, Hamas’ operatives recently kidnapped one dissident youth, Oday Nasser Al Rabay, and, subsequently, tortured him for hours, before they brutally executed him and dumped his grossly disfigured body at the doorstep of his family’s home “like a puppy [with] a rope around his neck…”
In truth, due to the fact that they have been so vividly oppressed and brutalized by Hamas for over a decade, the Palestinian people themselves now desperately desire to be rid of Hamas and liberated from its savagery by any means necessary.
For example, in 2022, countless brave Palestinians and activists inundated Twitter via the hashtag #TheyKidnappedGaza, in order to proclaim their dire plight to the world and confirm that “Hamas has billions of dollars in investments in many countries, while people [in Gaza] starve to death and migrate in search of work.”
Furthermore, on March 25th 2025, innumerable courageous Palestinians cascaded throughout the streets of Gaza and staged the largest anti-Hamas protests since 2023, in order to protest against Hamas’ terrorism and demand their freedom from its decades of violent tyranny, chanting “Hamas are terrorists” and “Down with Hamas, we’ve had enough, Hamas!” until Hamas itself was forced to appear and violently disperse the brave freedom fighters.
Even Arab Barometer, the “longest-running and most comprehensive public opinion project in the [Middle East]”, has recently confirmed that over 67% of Gazans are deeply distrustful of Hamas. In addition, Arab Barometer’s study has revealed that 72% of Gazans believe that Hamas and its government institutions are overwhelmingly corrupt and that “The people of Gaza are disillusioned not only with Hamas but with the entire Palestinian leadership.”
More importantly, if Gaza is successfully liberated from Hamas and administered by the state of Israel, then it is evident that the Jewish nation will unequivocally remain an apt, compassionate, steward for the Palestinian people and earnestly guarantee the fundamental human rights of all Palestinians, as well as the integrity of political expression in Gaza, until the region is successfully stabilized and returned to some modicum of normal, democratic, functionality within the international political system.
For instance, over the past decade, the state of Israel has permitted countless Palestinian people to flee from Palestine into Israel, in order to escape their own respective murder and live safely, openly, and freely.
Furthermore, Israeli organizations have, for decades, consistently supplied Palestine with humanitarian aid and endeavoured to improve the ‘life chances’ of the Palestinian people, despite the brutal violence, terror, and hatred that Palestinian terrorist organizations enthusiastically cultivate against the nation of Israel and the Jewish people. Incredibly, since the most recent outbreak of the Israel-Palestine Conflict on October 7th alone, the state of Israel has helped to transfer over 1 000 000 tonnes of humanitarian aid and 800 000 tonnes of food into Gaza and the Palestinian territories.
In addition, the state of Israel is the only democratic state in the Middle East, as well as the only Middle Eastern state wherein every citizen is accorded with identical human rights, regardless of their ethnicity or personal ideology. In fact, various internationally revered NGOs have repeatedly confirmed that “Women [and other minorities in Israel] enjoy full political rights in law and in practice…” and that “Israel hosts a diverse and competitive multiparty system…[wherein any] parties or candidates that….oppose democracy or incite racism are prohibited… and many Arab-majority towns are run by mayors from the Joint List parties.”
Unfortunately, despite the fact that the state of Israel has been relentlessly condemned by various left-wing pundits and politicians for its efforts to liberate Gaza from Hamas’ savage tyranny, it is evident that Israel’s impending offensive represents the only path forward towards liberty and hope in Gaza.
In fact, it is clear that the state of Israel must eradicate Hamas and begin to itself administer the Gaza Strip, in order to achieve any enduring peace in Gaza and a viable future for the Palestinian people.
In truth, although countless self-styled ‘Palestinian allies’ throughout North America continue to regurgitate the tattered narrative that ‘the state of Israel must be abolished in order for the Palestinian people to be free’, it is readily apparent that anyone who earnestly seeks to help or liberate the Palestinian people must unequivocally strive to confront Hamas and expel its extremist blight from the Palestinian Territories, not abort the state of Israel or exterminate the Jewish people.
Alas, the state of Israel could vanish into the sea alongside every last Jewish person, and yet, until Hamas has been thoroughly decimated and exiled from Gaza, the Palestinian people will still remain brutally oppressed and in bondage at the hands of their compatriots.
