A Rejunification of the Crucifix

America’s representative form of government has always been admired, but now under Biden it has become one of “the others”. In fact in the case of Biden, to date, many of his actions fall short of the very definition of democracy. Stephan Flatow’s Op-Ed, “There’s a need for gestures before Biden arrives—” was a sarcastic warning to Israel’s leaders.

Indeed what followed suggested that Biden had been tutored on an old British history book. In the present case it was as if Israel’s leaders ignored the astute message provided by Flatow. What followed was an anticipation of the release of terrorists from prison, Jewish construction projects being frozen and illegal Arab workers obtaining entry permits. In fact, not all occurred on this occasion.

On the other hand, Biden assumed certain actions, perhaps even more disturbing. It was as if he would treat the two allies equally in the pursuit of turning democracy on its head, let alone ignoring established laws.

On July 26, 2022, Arutz 7 posted Flatow’s, “Biden rewrites Israel’s history”. It addresses Biden’s choice in the well worn promotion of the falsehood that “Palestinians” had “deep and ancient roots” in the Land of Israel. This remark was literally in the same sentence as his call for “a two-state solution for two people.”

His shallow remarks defy history. Archeology studies clearly demonstrate Jewish claims while all “Palestinian” claims are vacuous.

Flatow lists the following:

[1] A 2,000 year-old ritual bath (mikveh) was uncovered in the Lower Galilee—meaning that the residents of that region were practicing the same religious rituals that Jews throughout the world practice today.

[2] In the Givati Parking Lot excavation in Jerusalem, archaeologists discovered Hebrew language inscriptions dating back over 2,600 years.

[3] Excavators from the University of North Carolina discovered two stunning mosaics at the site of a 1,600 year-old synagogue near Huqoq, in Northern Israel. One depicts a scene from the exodus of the Jews from ancient Egypt. The other shows images based on verses in the Torah’s Book of Daniel.

[4] New laboratory testing methods developed at Ben-Gurion University deciphered a description of a 3,000 year-old seal. It is inscribed in Hebrew and references the Jewish King, Jeroboam II, who ruled in the Land of Israel nearly 3,000 years ago.

In fairness, setting aside ignorance, one cannot expect Biden to know any of this, but he could change from  his ill founded prejudice. Stephen Flatow rightfully calls out the President of the United States, from making claims that lend a hand to such outrageous historical revisionism.

No, Mr. President, the “Palestinians” do not have deep roots in the Land of Israel. And the assumed equality between the 2 parties you reference, differs widely. For one in particular, we do not include a society of terrorists within our nation. On the home front, Biden’s performance has resulted in a divided nation.

And now to the unprecedented crisis concerning former President Donald Trump at enforced center stage. Indeed, questions on what is and what is not legal reigns. Looking down throughout history, has any other president faced the breaking into his home by FBI Agents and to have legal documents removed without due process of law. FBI procedures required the submission of a subpoena requesting suspect documents, and did not.

The warrant has been made available, but many questions still remain. With each day, we become more distrustful of the FBI and DOJ. We need a recall of checks and balances. The public needs to know what the FBI claimed as probable cause to undertake a search warrant, what was not revealed in the warrant application and what specific materials they were seeking.

The affidavit submitted to the Florida judge must surely be made available for public scrutiny. When will Congress assemble for hearings? When shall we be graced with statements from the ignoble Biden Administration?

Proof is required from the disgraced FBI that what has occurred is not yet another persecution of a very successful Republican opposition leader.

Alan Bergstein’s topical, “Kristallnacht, USA” posted by Arutz7 on August 8, 2022 speaks volumes to the equivalence of crucifying Trump. He considers the day “being similar in nature to the German Nazis’ opening salvo of fascism, the beginning of the extermination of Jews and democracy, on November 9, 1938.”

Bergstein rightfully points to each and every individual who supports the current US Administration, as being a component of “the battering ram ” which has led to the “destruction of the pillars of freedom we once appreciated.” That no American will escape the bonds of dictatorship now spreading among US national leaders is most certainly truthful.

Alan Bergstein is of the opinion that what is happening is a determined activity to ensure that Trump cannot be reelected. Others feel that its aim is to aid and abet the continuous January 6 hearings. It could well be both.

Harvard Law Professor Alan Dershowitz, as quoted in Mail On Line, states “Raid on Trump’s Mar-a-Lago home was totally unjustified” and he questioned the rush on his estate, which should only have been a “last resort”. He also demanded the DOJ to explain their motives. The Administration had used the “weaponization of the justice system against its political enemies.”

Dershowitz reminds us that the Administration arrested people, denied them bail, put them in handcuffs, and used all kinds of techniques that are not usually applied to American citizens, “–and I hope this raid has a justification.” Further, “If it doesn’t have a justification , the material will be suppressed.”

Israel National News [Arutz7] published a statement from former Vice President Mike Pence, which was critical on the FBI’s raid. He said, ” I share the deep concern of millions of Americans over the unprecedented search of the personal residence of President Trump. No former President of the United States has ever been subject to a raid of their personal residence in American history,” which appeared in his Twitter account.
