A Rude Awakening
So, President Trump whacked the entire world with a two-by-four, with his proposed plan for Gaza. The expected kneejerk reaction from the left to anything Trump says or does, came out in full force against his proposal to temporarily relocate Gazans to Arab and Muslim countries, thus giving the United States room to go about the business of rebuilding Gaza. As a side benefit, Israel would have free reign to rid Gaza of Hamas.
Trump’s plan for Gaza does not include putting US military boots on the ground because it would be a logistical and political nightmare. His proposal was an opening gambit, in which the US would settle for a short-term loss, in favor of gaining a long-term win. The short-term loss would be the vocal resistance by the world to the US uprooting and removing Gazans from Gaza. The long-term gain would be the rebuilding of Gaza and the removal of the monsters of Hamas from Israel’s doorstep.
It is well known that Middle East countries value saving face, yet paradoxically they have no shame that out of the 22 Arab nations and approximately 50 Muslim countries, not one of them is willing to help their ‘brothers’ by accepting them as short-term residents, while the United States rebuilds Gaza.
The Palestinian Arabs’ dream of a Judenrein Israel was kept on life-support during the Obama and Biden administrations’ feckless Middle East policies, and their hopes of a Harris presidency sustained them, until the election of President Trump turned their dream into a nightmare.
Given Israel is the ancestral homeland of the Jewish people which was founded 2,000 years before Christianity and 2,500 years before the advent of Islam, realpolitik dictates that pro-Palestinian Arab countries and their supporting cast need to reconcile themselves with the fact that the Jewish State of Israel is here to stay.
Today, thanks to new and bold initiatives by both the Trump and Netanyahu administrations, the world has come to the realization that the genocidal enemies of Israel are on the precipice of a fatal fall, while conversely, peace and security through strength is within Israel’s ascendant reach. Pity it took a whack on the side of the head with a two-by-four for the world to finally begin to come to that rude awakening.
