So Much Song, So Many Topics Of Celebration
This year’s theme is celebrating the 70th anniversary of the State of Israel, the 51st anniversary of the unification of Jerusalem after the victory of the Six Day War and the opening of the United States Embassy in Jerusalem, this past May 14th, on Yom Yerushalayim.
Five members of the Israeli government are flying into New York to personally and publicly tell the 5,000 audience members a “Todah Rabah.”
Rita Cosby, Emmy-winning Co-Host of the number one radio show, Curtis and Cosby,” and Pete Hegseth, co-host of “Fox and Friends,” will share personal stories of their recent visits to Israel. Hegseth filmed exclusive tours by an Iron Drone and Hamas Tunnel.
A unique addition to this year’s lineup include three faces familiar to television viewers. Siggy Flicker, Jules Wainstein and Stacy Kessler will share personal stories as to why Israel is special to them. Because of Siggy’s appearance at our concert, she was later asked and accepted to be a Grand Marshall at the Salute to Israel Parade down Fifth Avenue earlier in the day.
A Time To Reflect
While we rejoice, we also don’t forget. Rockets in Gaza, our right to Judea and Samaria, the rise of anti-Semitism, the BDS movement and the common core curriculum in our classrooms that distorts the Judeo-Christian factual history with bias opinions. The concert will honor those who have given their lives and those that serve in the Israel Defense Forces. We also will pay tribute to the United States Armed Forces.
