A summation of Israel’s enemies

The recent ceasefire brokered by Egypt has been holding for the past few days, and this gives me a clear unpanicked mind to think, unpack and regurgitate what I just witnessed over the past week and a half.

I noticed that Israel, and by extension the Jewish people, have a real problem, and it is not just the world-condemned terrorist group called Hamas. If it were, life would be much easier as Hamas has terrorism in their charter. Their bloodlust of killing innocents would be too blatant to ignore. Alas, unfortunately, there are other enemies, and some are so subtle and elusive that to recognize them as an enemy is much harder. I guess this is where I come in to point out the not so obvious.

Hamas has been expelled from so many Muslim countries because they are extremists and a violent breed. Jordan expelled Hamas leaders from Amman in 1999, accusing them of having used their Jordanian offices as a command post for military activities in the West Bank and Gaza. In 2001, the political bureau established new headquarters in Damascus, Syria. It was forced to move again in 2012 to Doha, Qatar, after leadership failed to support the Assad government in its crackdown on the Syrian uprising.

From the onset, Hamas rejected negotiations with Israel. The group denounced the 1993 peace agreement between Israel and the PLO and, along with the Islamic Jihad group, subsequently intensified its terror campaign using suicide bombers.

“The Day of Judgment will not come about until Moslems fight Jews and kill them. Then, the Jews will hide behind rocks and trees, and the rocks and trees will cry out: ‘O Moslem, there is a Jew hiding behind me, come and kill him.”

Enough said.

There are two types of thugs who are enemies of Israel, and by extension the Jewish people, and by extension morality.

  1. Have you walked on a dark New York City street and seen three Chassidic Jews approaching slowly and thought to yourself, that this is going to be bad? I am going to get hurt if not killed. The answer of course is no. How about when you see three people with Keffiyehs around their face?

Whenever there is any kind of skirmish in Israel, these thugs come out of the woodwork and take full advantage of the situation; they intimidate, fight, throw rocks and are up to no good. This is their moment to show the world their passion, guts and glory. What they are really doing however, is creating Islamophobia, which is sad.

  1. The second type of thug would be the bias politicians who at the very same time Israel is fending off 4,000 rockets sent indiscriminately onto the heads and houses of civilian men, women and children, are condemning Israel and politicizing for their own greedy needs and aspirations. I need to be clear, this is not a Democrat/Republican issue, this is a moral one.

Where I live, there is a local clown by the name of Phil Ramos who is the Deputy Speaker of the NYS Assembly, who is like the first type of thug mentioned above, really just a violent opportunist with their fists. Ramos too is a violent opportunist, but with his mouth. He blasted Israel at an anti-hate rally. No, I am not making this up. I am not even sure he even knows where Israel is or can even spell Palestinian. Just a blowhard who has no moral compass or scruples and probably has his sights on higher office.

A bigot is people like Trevor Noah, Gigi Hadad and Bella Hadad, Al Sharpton, Jesse Jackson and Louis Farrakhan who have built their life’s success on the backs of Jews. They could not climb the ladder of success on their own, so they built their careers on being an anti-Semite. They could have chosen helping with world hunger, world peace, the climate, female genital mutilation, civil wars, etc. Instead, they chose the bigoted and much easier path. An anti-Semite in a suit will always hold sway especially if the suit comes with a Zegna label. Yes, anti-Semitism is a lucrative business and is great for the bottom line.

I think the best way I can describe the fool is by sharing something that happened to me personally.

In addition to the protests that took place all over the country last summer, there was also violence, looting and destruction. I am all for protests but not at all for the other stuff. In July of 2020 during one of these protests that went bad, a strange thing happened on the streets of Los Angeles. An area that is predominantly Jewish called Fairfax got its store windows broken, synagogues were defaced with free Palestine scrawl and Jewish schools were also vandalized. I was outraged. How does it get to this where an anti-police protest over the death of George Floyd turns into Jewish property destruction? Was Chauvin Jewish? Furthermore, no one, not even in Los Angeles, was reporting on it? So, me being me wrote an article about indifference to anti-Jewish hate and called my article “Kristallanacht in Los Angeles.”

A reporter by the name of Rob Eshman, who is a staff member at The Forward who did not report on the actual destruction, decided that calling out destruction by me went a bit too far. Mr. Eshman in his sore lack of vision mocked my whole premise that this was an attack on Jews and he hid his head in the sand like so many of his colleagues do. His whole article, which he was paid for, was about how I was so wrong.

Fast forward a few months to last week. Jews in Los Angeles were beaten violently while eating lunch in broad daylight. I contacted Eshman and told him what I heard, and he responded, “I know, I broke the story.”

Mr. Eshman is a fool. He did not break the story. He wrote the story. He caused the story. By mocking the destruction of Jewish property as a non-story with no consequences, he and others like him have allowed the next steps to occur. I say shame on him and any other fool who stays quiet for fear of upsetting the status quo. “We don’t want to offend” means to me, “I don’t care what happens to you.”

Shortsighted, foolish and dangerous.

If we have learned nothing since the Holocaust, being vocal is needed for our very survival.

This category I see on social media. They see a post that Gaza civilians are being fired upon and are being seriously traumatized by the superior Israelis which creates a knee jerk reaction. First, what they do not bother to ascertain is that 15% of the rockets launched by the terrorist Hamas land in Gaza, which leads to death of civilians and destruction of property. Second, Israel and its army has a policy. It does not attack or target civilians even to their own detriment. It is Hamas that fires rockets from hospitals, schools and mosques and not Israel.

The innocents who have no real understanding of the goings on then repeat like parrots what they have just read.

Here is the real pure unadulterated truth. You tell me after you read this, which countries are an apartheid state and which countries are not.

There are 1.9 million Arabs living in Israel with full protection and rights. There are zero Jews in Gaza, Iraq, Jordan, Saudi Arabia, Syria. There are 10 Jews in Egypt and 100 in Lebanon.

The question I have is why are the innocents so quick to be duped by Palestinian marketing?

The answer: It is easier to be anti-Semitic than to have to think for oneself.

Please feel free to share.
