A Tribute To The Heroes of Israel – Stop The Hate

Stop The Hate by Brett Chatz
Fresh off the press, this is the introductory chapter to Stop The Hate – a passion project for the Jewish people.

Preamble

The unprecedented violence of October 7, 2023, took Israel and world Jewry by surprise. The magnitude of horror on that day was beyond comprehension. The radical Islamist terrorist organization Hamas perpetrated obscene acts of terror against anyone and everyone they came across in Israel. Jews and non-Jews alike were put to the sword, butchered en masse by a ruthless and depraved enemy hellbent on destruction.

The sheer barbarity of that day will live on in infamy. The sovereign state of Israel was attacked with Nazi-style ferocity. A massacre of this scale stunned the world, albeit for a fleeting moment. For the Jewish people and friends of Israel, the atrocities were seared into our collective consciousness, indelibly etched into our mind’s eye. Those heinous acts cannot be unseen.

For the deluded who dispute the facts of that black day, the violence was shocking beyond compare. Savagery, the likes of which we have not seen since Islamic State butchered innocents across Syria and Iraq. Beheadings, extreme sexual violence, mass murder, kidnapping, and cruelty do not even begin to describe the horrific events of October 7, 2023. Hamas terrorists, Palestinian Islamic Jihad, and their minions rallied by the thousand as they breached Israel’s borders with paragliders, bulldozers, motorcycles, and terror tunnels.

The scope of the attack stunned Israel, caught the IDF unawares, and rocked the global community. As details emerged, the iniquity of the enemy was laid bare. Radical Islamism fosters a culture of wanton violence, spoon-fed from the devil’s teat. One cannot stress how sadistic, malicious, and outright evil the attacks were. The indiscriminate massacres hit home with a vengeance. The terrorists were not targeting military personnel and installations – they were targeting civilians in their beds at home, peaceniks at the Nova Music Festival, and innocent bystanders.

Children and babies were ripped away from their parents, burned, brutalized, or beheaded. Women and young girls were gang raped, tortured, and murdered in front of their families. Men were gagged and bound, forced to watch the senseless violence. Like the Nazi SS stormtroopers, heavily armed Hamas terrorists hunted terrified civilians. They herded them into bomb shelters, tossed in hand grenades and Molotov cocktails, and opened fire with AK-47s. The carnage continued until the screams fell silent. The eerie similarities of October 7 to Nazi Germany gas chambers are freakishly familiar to worldwide Jewry.

But the terror didn’t end there. Hamas gunmen descended upon a peace festival, mowing down hundreds of innocent revelers in cold blood. They blocked off escape routes, pointed semiautomatic weapons in the direction of panicked men and women, and fired indiscriminately into large crowds of innocent people. The documented footage of every single atrocity – from the terrorists themselves – speaks volumes about the depravity of this barbaric enemy.

A Middle Ages mindset, blood and iron, celebrated by millions in the West Bank and Gaza and hundreds of millions around the Arab world, speaks volumes about the depth of hatred against Israel and the Jewish people. Unfortunately, the iniquity of that day was only getting started.

Images and videos of kidnapped Israeli, European, American, Asian, and other nationals soon began flooding TikTok, YouTube, Twitter, Telegram, Facebook, X, and other social platforms. The world already knows their names – young babies, their siblings, mothers, grandmothers, grandfathers, men, and women were kidnapped by the hundreds.

And yet, outside of Israel, we watched in shocked disbelief as posters of abducted Israelis were torn down—an utter disgrace. These terrified civilians were dragged on motorcycles, trucks, golf carts, or by foot into the hellhole that is Gaza. The nightmare was only beginning for these defenseless, terrified people. No matter the extent of Palestinians’ grievances, nothing justifies the violence of October 7, 2023.

Innocent civilians were dragged into the bowels of hell, dozens of feet beneath the surface in rancid terror tunnels, gagged and bound, chained, and brutalized. Israel is fighting for its very survival – the war against radical Islamic terrorism is a global fight that begins with Jews but ends on European, British, Canadian, and American soil.

Make no mistake about it – Israel is on the front lines, but the Western world is the target. This war on terror is part and parcel of a desire by radical Islamists to re-establish a caliphate across Europe and the Americas. What cannot be taken by force, mass murder, mayhem, and destruction will be done via immigration – legal or illegal, occupation and indoctrination through educational systems, mass protests, and political ascendancy. We are at war with an ideology sick and twisted.

It seeks to drag us back to the Dark Ages. The silent masses in our Judeo-Christian society must not allow this evil to run rampant. We must rally together and stand firm against the hate. But we must not lose our humanity in this battle against evil, for we do not want to become what we detest. It’s a fine line, but we will confidently take each step, knowing our future depends on it. Country after country is succumbing to the menace of radical Islamism, and they are seemingly powerless to stem the tide.

We must act because we have no choice. The war on terror is an open-ended conflict. Nothing short of the destruction and dismantlement of this ideology will suffice. We face an existential threat if we don’t act. Look around – the world is on fire. The venom may be targeted at the Jews for now, but Israel and the Jewish people are not the end goal. Remember, little Satan and big Satan – Israel and America.

Freedom-loving democracies now face their sternest test. Will we have the courage of our convictions to end this radical Islamic menace once and for all? Do we have the political will, the intellectual capacity, and the determination to extinguish the fires of hatred before they engulf our countries in Sharia Law?

It seems a stretch of the imagination, yet that’s precisely what has already unfolded across Europe, Canada, and dozens of cities, towns, and enclaves across the United States. The United Kingdom is battling the scourge of radical Islamic terror, with the once cosmopolitan city of London now a hotbed of pro-Hamas acolytes. The genocidal intent of radical Islam is on full display – From the River to the Sea, Palestine Will Be Free. Cities like Birmingham now have larger migrant populations than UK-born citizens.

The inverted logic of woke apologists, progressives (a.k.a. regressive activists), anarchists, socialists, and pro-Hamas agitators has taken root on the streets of major European, American, and Canadian cities. There is no such thing as a peaceful pro-Hamas rally; what we are seeing unfolding is mass action, intimidation, violence, and blatant antisemitism. These are not people we can reason with. They behave like animals.

The perils of an uneducated populace being led astray by rampage-driven crusaders and their Nazi ideology begs the question – Where did we go wrong? This exhaustive book attempts to scratch the surface of this festering rage. It is the deep-seated hatred of the pro-Hamas contingent against Jews and Western culture. We leave no stone unturned in our quest. The burning questions of our time warrant cold, hard truths, not political expediency, victim shaming, or cancel culture.

Such is the seriousness of geopolitical affairs that frank discussions are needed post-haste. We must bind our words with actions, all within the ambit of our legal system. We must arrest further declines in the equilibrium in our societies. We must preserve individual freedoms while preventing the rot being forced upon us by out-and-out savages.

Everyone is entitled to peaceful protest, but violence, intimidation, and unlawful conduct must not be tolerated. Hate speech is not a peaceful protest. Genocidal chants are not a peaceful protest. Singling out Jews on college campuses, at synagogues, at work, or in their homes is nothing less than antisemitism.

We are not living in 1930s Nazi Germany – we are almost a hundred years beyond that point, and yet we are bearing witness to tyranny on our streets. We are not okay with what is going on. We do not accept this as the new normal. We want law and order to return to our institutions of higher learning, neighborhoods, shopping centers, places of worship, businesses, and streets.

The State of Israel exists, has existed, and will always exist. It is the Jewish national homeland and the homeland of all Israelis – Jews and non-Jews alike. This irrefutable reality evokes the ire of the pro-Hamas crowd; it serves as a clarion call to rally tens of millions to violence. To what end will these keyboard warriors and anti-Israel activists go to achieve their goals? Are we to take them at their word – From the River to the Sea, Palestine Will Be Free?

We need to look no further than the perpetrators of the atrocities themselves – Hamas terrorists – for the answers. If given a chance, this hateful grassroots terror group fully intends to commit atrocities like October 7, 2023, again and again, and again as long as it takes to cleanse ”Palestine” of all Jews. They would like nothing better than to drive the Jews into the sea or summarily exterminate them by the million.

The world has seen and heard the ecstatic phone calls – the jubilation of Palestinian gunmen calling home to their parents about how many Jews they murdered in cold blood on that fateful day. We are dealing with a sickness of the soul, a blackness of the heart that cannot be repaired. The hateful ideology driving Hamas terrorists and their minions must be eradicated. Our attempts at providing feasible solutions to these pressing concerns will follow in short order.

Let it be known that we are dealing with a death cult. These terrorists are hellbent on martyrdom. While Islamist leadership enjoys the trappings of lavish lifestyles in Qatar, Lebanon, Syria, Iraq, Iran, and other Muslim-majority strongholds, the people – the foot soldiers – live in absolute squalor of the soul, clinging to a vile ideology that will not further their cause.

The indoctrination is next level; it is on par with ISIS, with multi-generational hatred permeating through every conceivable facet of Palestinian society. It is a tall order to reverse an objectionable ideology, but failure will result in our collective demise. Thank you for reading this preamble.
