Abbas, the ‘True’ Palestinian: To Which Tribe Did He Belong?
In the Torah, reference is made to the “arba arai ha kodesh”… the four cities holy to the Jews.
1) Jerusalem (established by King David and site of King Solomon’s Holy Temple).
2) Hebron (the burial place in the Cave of Machpela which Abraham purchased from Ephron, son of Zohar the Hittite). Abraham, Sarah, Isaac, Rebecca, Jacob, and Leah are buried there. Rachel died on the way and is buried in Bethlehem.
3) Safed (Tzfat) where the kabbalah was written by the Jewish mystic, Moses de Leon in the 13th century.
4) Tiberias (Tveriya) where the Jerusalem Talmud was written in the 4th century.
These are our four holiest cities in the Land of Israel.
When God promised the land to Abraham, he made it absolutely clear that the seven nations dwelling there were to be completely destroyed.
Deuteronomy (Devarim) 7: 1-2… “When the Lord your God brings you into the land where you go to possess it and cast out many nations before you… the Hittites, the Girgashites, the Amorites, the Canaanites, the Perizzites, the Hivites and the Jebusites, seven nations greater and mightier than you, and when the Lord your God delivers them up before you and you strike them, then you shall utterly destroy them. You shall make no covenant with them nor show mercy to them”.
The wars of destruction lasted from Abraham’s time until Joshua became the leader of Israel, following the death of Moses.
Now, Mahmoud Abbas, a “true” son of Palestine, has claimed that he is descended from the Canaanites, a tribe that was destroyed in biblical times. Little remains of their existence as there were no written records.
So the question which needs to be asked is: from what tribe was Abbas descended? To which tribe does he claim as his birthright?
Mahmoud Abbas (a.k.a. Abu Mazen) was born in 1935 in the Jewish holy city of Safed in Galilee during the British Mandate of Palestine. In 1948, when he was 13-years-old, his family fled to Syria where he was educated.
In 1982, he received a doctoral degree from Peoples’ Friendship University in the Soviet Union. The title of the thesis which he wrote and defended was “The Connection Between the Nazis and the Leaders of the Zionist Movement: 1933-1945”.
Not only did he besmirch the honored founders and leaders of Zionism, he also declared that the number of Jews killed in the Holocaust was exaggerated by the Zionists for political gain in their efforts to seize Arab Palestine for a future Jewish sovereign state.
It is obvious that Abbas, a “true” historian and native Palestinian born in a Jewish holy city, has never opened a Bible where he could read God’s promise to Abraham, the Covenant which they made, and the ultimate defeat of the seven pagan idol-worshipers who were living there at the time.
All seven nation-tribes disappeared from off the face of the earth.
So… from which tribe does the president of Palestine emanate? Is he a Canaanite or a Hittite?
For thousands of years, Jews have been speaking, reading and writing in their ancient language… Hebrew.
Does President Abbas speak Canaanite, Jebusite, Hittite? Or perhaps he speaks Girgashite.
No matter. The simple truth is that he has absolutely no connection to ancient Palestine or to Israel.
His people wandered in the deserts of Syria, to which they returned in 1948.
Will the true descendant of the original seven nations of old please stand. He looks young for his age!
