Accountability Has No Recess- Torah Portion Pikudei

In all we do, are we accountable?
The measuring stick for integrity
Is to ensure, we are reliable.
Our conscience is the key to scrutiny.

Each piece itemized on a balance sheet,
Every item in the Sanctuary,
Examined in audit, all brought to it.
No item, big or small unaccounted.

Continuous detailed reckoning to build trust,
The Tent of Testimony housed the Tablets;
The inventory puts scruples to the test
To conduct periodical reviews.

Responsibility has no recess
From continuous answerability.
