AI seems so real — but things aren’t always what they seem

When you talk to AI you think you’re talking to a real person. It sounds so much like a real person. And yet, as we all know, AI is not a real person

Things are not always what they seem.

The world around us is not always what it seems. We see people, countries, armies, and so on. Sometimes we think to ourselves, that there’s no way Israel can stand up to the entire world.

Sometimes we think to ourselves, that the obstacles are insurmountable. Sometimes we think to ourselves, that the only way to get along with the world, is to conform, to give in, to be afraid. Because after all, the world, the countries, the nations are so much bigger and more powerful. “We just have to get along with the international world,” we tell ourselves, “we just have to do what the world says.”

We need to tell ourselves, that just as AI seems to be a real person, but it’s not real, similarly a lot of things may seem to be a certain way, but it’s not necessarily the way it seems.

Yes it’s a big world out there. Yes we are a tiny people, the Jewish nation, often surrounded by adversaries. Yes things can look very scary. But we need to tell ourselves, that as big and mighty and scary as the world might seem, things are not always the way they seem.

The Almighty runs this world. No matter what all the nations and countries might say. The Almighty runs this world, and He is miraculously protecting His chosen nation.
