American Slavery!

Most people refer to the theme of Passover in an abridged edition:

“We were slaves in Egypt and now we are free.”

There’s something very crucial missing here. The full statement is:

“We were slaves to Pharaoh in Egypt and now we are free.”

Slavery and freedom aren’t just physical. They are mental, cultural and more.

Jonathan Pollard has been in a physical jail for over a quarter of a century. We have been setting a place for him at our seder for over twenty-five years.

I think that Dry Bones hit the nail on the head when he said that there’s a problem with American Jewry, or Pollard would have been freed a long time ago.

They and the Israeli Government are slaves to the modern Pharaoh.
