An Open Letter to President Trump re: Next Steps

The Gaza population was given total rein over the Strip and elected Hamas. They have supported Hamas throughout the war until they have all lost their homes and the Strip has become almost inhabitable. Hamas, and every radical Islamic group, have proven that their only solution is to kill all the Jews and eliminate the State of Israel. You have concluded that the people of Gaza need to be relocated where they can better themselves and leave Israel alone.

I propose two countries for relocation that have not really been discussed. The first is Qatar. They have been more of an enemy to the US and democracies everywhere than Iran. Instead of Iran’s saber rattling, they subvert quietly. They have hosted the Hamas leadership for over a decade. They have invested billions of dollars in American universities to raise a generation of students and faculty to hate America, Israel and any Western democracy (that is not willing to subjugate themselves to sharia law). They have funded the Brown University curriculum sent to thousands of K-12 schools in all 50 states to deride Israel and criticize American democracy. And then there is Al Jazeera, the Qatari newsservice that promotes radical Islam throughout the world and even hires terrorists as “journalists.”

The second is Turkey under Erdogan. Turkey has been and continues to be a strong supporter of Hamas and gives domicile to their leadership. Additionally, it is supporting the new ex-Al Queda terrorists that have taken over Syria as part of their plan to reestablish the Ottoman empire. Turkey should no longer be a NATO member (if there were a way to remove them) as they are a dictatorship, not a democracy, friendlier to Iran and Russia than the US, and no longer in sync with any of the other NATO nations

We have major air bases in both these countries. Do we really need them? Couldn’t our forces be better deployed closer to home or in friendlier nations? How much money is the US and their servicemen spending in these two unfriendly countries? Mr. Trump you talked about better utilization of defense dollars.

So I would suggest that if these 2 countries do not accept the majority of Gazans that want to emigrate, and those remaining Hamas members who need to be relocated (to these countries that love them so much), we threaten to close both airbases.

Additionally, all Qatari funds to higher education in the US should be cut off and any university that did not declare their foreign funding should have their federal funding cut to the same extent they received from Qatar.

It is about time that we support allies and oppose and undermine our enemies! Thank you Mr. President
