An Open Letter to the Members of Congress

Dear Esteemed Members of Congress:

Faces smiling, hands waving and backs being patted: a deal is done. Yes, after months and months of negotiations, a deal between Iran and the world powers has been struck.

You will excuse me if I do not cheer or share the joy of the world leaders. Actually, I feel quite the opposite. While President Obama hails the deal as making the world a safer place, I prefer to believe my Prime Minister, Mr. Netanyahu, who has said over and over how bad this deal is and has said that today, with the signing of the deal, the world became a much scarier place. In your chambers, our Prime Minister explained in detail why this was to be a “very bad deal.” Now, he says that this is a “historic mistake for the world.”

That is why I am writing to you today, only hours after this deal has been signed. As you rightly lobbied for, you will have a veto power over this deal, if it does not meet your expectations of a fair, balanced and good deal. While the President has threatened to overturn any veto by Congress, let me explain why it is essential that you do anything in your power to see that this deal dies a quick death.

First, let us get one thing straight. Iran as a country, as a regime as a people: Iran is filled with liars who will lie with a smile and pretend all is ok. The Mullahs are liars. The president is a liar. The leaders are all liars. When they say they will never pursue nuclear weapons, it is a lie. When they say that they never chant “Death to the USA” or “Death to Israel,” all you need to do is look online to see they lie. This deal, with liars and cheats will give Iran the bomb in ten years.

If we do not want them to have the bomb NOW, why is it ok for them to have it ten years hence?

This deal enables billions of dollars to now be freed up to the regime. We also know that Iran is the Number One sponsor of terrorism in the world. Providing these terrorist-funders with billions is like handing a pedophile a thousand children. It is like handing a mass murderer all of the tools he would need to commit more mass murder. It is giving the blue prints of a gas chamber to Hitler (y”sh).

Yes, this deal, EVEN if it IN THEORY would not cause a single nuclear weapon to come into existence will indeed cause a spike in terror acts around the world, the likes of which we haven’t seen before. We are placing ALL the necessary tools in the hands of Iran to see that happen: M-O-N-E-Y. The almighty buck. As the world leaders genuflected at the altar of appeasement, the leaders of Iran were drooling at the mouth just smelling all the money about to come their way.

Whether it is in the United States, Kuwait, Israel, Tunisia, or any other place on this planet, no location is now safe from the long reach of the Iranian-backed terror machine.  And it is your duty and your obligation to see to it that this deal is scuttled–fast. If you wish to see your kids safe at a mall, on a school bus or in a local gym; if you want your husbands and wives not to have to live fearing when the “other shoe” will drop, then you need to prevent that from happening!

On behalf of myself, Israel, the United States and all decent human beings everywhere, I urge you to do all in your power to please re-read the words of the Oath of Office that each of you had to take:

I do solemnly swear (or affirm) that I will support and defend the Constitution of the United States against all enemies, foreign and domestic; that I will bear true faith and allegiance to the same; that I take this obligation freely, without any mental reservation or purpose of evasion; and that I will well and faithfully discharge the duties of the office on which I am about to enter: So help me God.

Yes, so help you God, we need you to listen to and hearken to those words and protect the United States and the rest of the world.
