Are Liberal and Reform Jews putting us in danger?

Yesterday’s speech at the United Nations by the Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu,encompassed every aspect of what is happening to the Jewish community by those who wish to see it extinguished.
In other words those who wish to annihilate the Jewish people, and to see Israel wiped off the map.

So, why are there UK prominent Jews on one hand talking about the growth of anti-Semitism and yet feeding it with their other hand?

Why is it that a large part of our UK Liberal and Reform movement want to collaborate with those who don’t want Jews to defend themselves by making sure that we are top of their hate annihilation list?

We learnt over the past week that a few Rabbis are ignoring the warning signs. Rabbi laura-janner-klausner from the Reform Jewish community and Rabbi Natan Levy are going to be collaborating with the very same people that put up the hate wall ‘Bethlehem Unwrapped’ at St. James’s Church in London last Christmas.

This monstrosity of a handbuilt wall was to replicate the defence wall in Israel last year . All the usual anti-Israel mobs made their way down to London to glorify their hatred of Israel.

Advocates and supporters of Israel gave up hours of their free time and rallied around to stand outside this church condemning this horrific spectacle graffitied with numerous anti-Semitic comments. Stand with us UK were a group that were prominent in their opposition to this scandalous act of hatred.

So somebody tell me why the liberal and reform Jewish community spokespeople are forging ties with those who wish to see Israel and the Jewish people wiped off the map?

To give you an idea as to how we in the UK are ignoring the warning signs, I was listening to a radio interview with the UK Prime Minister David Cameron.
The questions were regarding the beheadings that were happening with Islamist terrorists and how to explain this horrific inhumane situation to your children around the breakfast table when they see the headlines in the newspapers.
David Cameron’s response was that Islam is one of the greatest religions on earth and he kept repeating it.

In 1938 families were also in the same predicament about how to explain to their children that they will have two leave their own homes and be evacuated because of the Nazis who were bombing their towns and their cities. Parents all over the UK were explaining to their children how Nazism was evil. At the same time Winston Churchill was broadcasting that we would fight them on the beaches and would never give in.
Isis and other terror groups including Hamas have Nazi ideologies however you want to put it and their core hatred stems from their attempts to delegitimise the Jewish people and Israel.

This is why David Cameron’s support of the British people has been lost, because he cannot be brave enough to talk about the truth . He will continue to lose support unless he confronts it head on .
Baroness Warsi apparently resigned because of her opposition to the Gaza war as Israel was being pummelled with thousands of rockets putting their citizens in danger but yet she’s been completely silent over ISIS as have all the others preaching hate towards Israel and the West.

So , I asked the question, Why haven’t the Jewish reform and liberal leadership been brave enough as has Netanyahu to come out and talk about the truth in what we are facing and why we are facing it?

Why have they basically ignored hundreds of hours of our time in counteracting these anti-Israel groups? What is it that they want from this?

The truth is, they are collaborating and swallowing up the hate as if it doesn’t exist and they are putting Jews not only in moral danger but physical danger too. By siding and unifying themselves with organisations that are using propaganda against Israel it is causing more abuse,  harassment and anti-Semitism towards Jewish people, and in turn putting our children in danger.

It is time to stop this dangerous relationship and voice the truth before it’s too late.
