Ask UNRWA to Refuse Hamas Demand to Padlock Their Schools During Riots Tomorrow
Leaders of the 1.8 million Gaza community – 83% whom dwell in UNRWA refugee camps under the promise of the “right of return” to villages lost in the 1948 war – have declared that tomorrow, on Saturday, March 30, they will mobilize Gaza men, women and children to break through fences of Gaza, under the war whoop of the “right of return by force of arms”.
To that end, Hamas has demanded that UNRWA schools padlock their doors on Saturday and mandate that UNRWA school children must join this march, which promises to be bloody.
It is hard to counter the directives of Hamas to UNRWA. Since 1999, Hamas won control of the UNRWA teachers union in Gaza and the UNRWA workers union in Gaza
Therefore, those who control the flow of cash to UNRWA must be held accountable.
What is the source of the $1.2 billion billion dollars that UNRWA garners each year?

On three occasions over the past two years, I and my staff met with the leading figures of the UN Secretary General staff, who responded that the donor nations are the address to bring this concern, since UNRWA essentially reports to the donor nations, not to the UN.
When you read this memo, ask these UNRWA donors to demand that UNRWA keep their schools open this Saturday.
