My Bubbe’s Neighborhood is a Memorial

This monument in Konstanz, Germany contains the names of the final Jews who were rounded up and deported from the city on October 22nd, 1940. It stands in the middle of the street outside where the synagogue which was destroyed on Kristallnacht once stood.
