Andreas Albrecht lives in Cologne, Germany. He is involved in Holocaust remembrance, Jewish life, inclusion and social justice. He is a member of a Jewish carnival association and organisations promoting German-Israeli friendship. As a parent representative, he is also engaged in education and raising awareness of antisemitism in schools. His essays on remembrance have been published internationally.
