I am a 73 year old semi-retired business man, having worked for most of my career primarily in the field of corporate finance. I come from London and, after a slight detour to Canada for thirty years, I now live permanently in Israel - which overall I find to be a very wholesome experience.
I was diagnosed with advanced metastatic cancer of the prostate early in 2019. Metastasis means a cancer has spread beyond its originating location. It does this via the blood stream which makes metastasis so very dangerous - as once it has started there is no guarantee where it will stop.
In my own case the process that then proceeded over the course of 2019 will, if all continues to go well, hopefully lead to a complete cure, and my story of what just happened may be of interest to some of you reading this article.
