Gayle Meyers began her career as a policy analyst in the US Department of Defense and then directed the Middle East Regional Security program of Search for Common Ground. After moving to Israel, she worked for a variety of organizations promoting a more peaceful, equal, and healthy Israeli society. She now works at the Times of Israel and lives in Jerusalem with her family.
