Dr. Leonel Caraciki is a historian specializing in the intersection of contemporary history, Jewish history, and international relations. He is a Research Fellow at the Program on Extremism at George Washington University.
His doctoral research examined the geopolitical and intellectual fallout of United Nations General Assembly Resolution 3379 that condemned Zionism as Racism, specifically analyzing the organized political and intellectual responses within United States Jewish communities. He holds an M.A. and a B.A. in History from the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro, as well as an M.A. and Ph.D. in Israel Studies from Ben-Gurion University of the Negev
