I am an Arabist and Middle East specialist. I began my studies at Eötvös Loránd University (ELTE), Faculty of Humanities, in Eastern Languages and Cultures, with a minor in Aesthetics, where I developed a strong background in the Arabic language as well as the history and civilisation of the Islamic world. In 2016, I was admitted to ELTE’s MA programme in Arabic Studies and graduated in 2019 with honours. I defended my doctoral dissertation in autumn 2025. During my university years, I also worked as an interpreter and linguistic expert on assignments for the Hungarian Defence Forces and the Győr-Moson-Sopron County Police Headquarters.
Previously, I worked as a researcher at the Eurasia Center of John von Neumann University, served as a Senior Research Fellow at the Migration Research Institute, and was an editor at Eurasia Magazine. My research focuses on ethnic and religious minorities in the Middle East and also covers Arabic dialects, the Arab world’s international relations, and its role in the global economy.
