Mikheil Saakashvili was the third president of Georgia for two consecutive terms from January 2004 to November 2013. He is the founder and former chairman of the United National Movement party and heads the Executive Committee of Ukraine's National Reform Council.
Saakashvili was arrested on October 1, 2021, when he returned to Georgia.
