Prabalta is a researcher and PhD candidate focused on mitigating wildfire risks through residual agroforestry biomass valorization. She previously worked as a journalist and editor, beginning her career at The Rising Nepal, where she reported on tourism before becoming a desk editor. She later served as Chief International Correspondent for The Oslo Times. She is currently a member of the European Press Federation.
