About Me

Roz Rothstein is the co-founder and CEO of StandWithUs, a non-partisan, Israel education organization founded in 2001 which now has offices on six continents. The daughter of Holocaust Survivors, Rothstein and her husband Jerry, together with lay leader, Esther Renzer, sought to share the inspiring story of Israel with the world, and educate the public about Israel’s achievements, challenges, and gifts to the world. StandWithUs’ goal is to empower Israel’s supporters globally to share information with their peers by providing them with training, support, innovative educational materials, and programs. StandWithUs has 15 departments working in collaboration with one another on college campuses, high schools, middle schools and grade schools, reaching hundreds of thousands of students each year through a variety of programs including year-long fellowships and internships. StandWithUs is a leader on social media, has a growing legal department, brings dynamic Holocaust education in the classroom, and so much more. Prior to founding StandWithUs, Roz spent two decades as a family therapist, licensed in the state of California. StandWithUs has also become a leader in organizing student conferences and missions to Israel. Rothstein has authored multiple articles and spoken to groups around the world. The Forward magazine has twice named Rothstein one of America's 50 most influential Jews in the US, and the Jerusalem Post has twice listed her as among the 50 most influential Jews in the world.
