Sarah graduated from Columbia University in 2016 with a B.A. in Psychology and Linguistics. After college, she spent two years working with Dr. Michele Gelfand, a leading cross-cultural psychologist at the University of Maryland, College Park. Her research explored variation in the functions and consequences of social norms across cultures. Sarah currently lives in Lod, Israel, where she is interning at The Abraham Initiatives, a non-profit organization that aims to develop a shared society and promote equality for Arab citizens in Israel. She also teaches English at a local high school and volunteers at an after school program for at-risk youth.
