About Me

Shoshanna Leon is a Wexner Heritage Fellow, board member of JAFINA, and member of JFNA’s Cabinet. She is pursuing graduate work in linguistics with a focus on Hebrew, Farsi, and Turkish. A proud Sephardi Zionist, she writes on language, politics, feminism, and Jewish identity—drawing from academic study, personal experience, and community leadership to explore the tensions shaping Jewish life in Israel and the diaspora.
