Cecilia Lazzaro Blasbalg is a copy editor. She previously worked at Haaretz on the breaking news desk and was the editorial lead of the culture magazine, The Guide. She moved to Israel in 2011 from her native Williamsburg, Brooklyn, and made a second move to Buenos Aires in 2023 with her two pre-teens, dog, and cat. She’s currently completing her PhD in History, writing a dissertation on “Why Argentine media reports financial news strictly through a neoliberal lens.”
