Tzeela Lifshitz grew up in New Jersey. She chose to make Aliyah after spending a year post high-school in Israel, instead of returning to the United States for college. Since then, she spent two years doing sherut leumi, first at Shaare Tzedek Hospital and later in the garin(cohort) in Kiryat Shmona. She is now beginning her studies at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem.
