Dr. Yaniv Ronen is an expert of sustainability and urban planning, and an associate researcher at the Forum for Regional Thinking in Van Leer Institute, Jerusalem.
I hold a PhD in Middle East History 2011, and a Masters degree in of Environmental, Geoinformatics and Urban Planning Sciences, since 2024. My Phd thesys is "The Forgotten Leader: a Biography of Ahmad Al-Shuqayri" who established the Palestine Liberation Organisation (PLO) in 1964.
I was a Senior Researcher at the Israeli Parliament (Knesset) Research and Information Centre, working on environment and sustainablity issues; I established and manged Sustainability and Environment municipal department; and Since 2023 I Started my consultanting bussiness.
