Beit Halochem Launches Campaign to Aid Wounded Soldiers, Terror Victims
Starting on October 18, the campaign will quadruple all donations, aiming to expand physical, psychological, and social support for those affected by wars and terrorist attacks.
Beit Halochem Brazil will kick off the Beit Halochem 2026 Campaign this Sunday, October 18, at 9 a.m. The initiative seeks to raise funds for the physical and emotional rehabilitation of Israeli soldiers wounded in combat and civilian victims of terrorism. A key highlight of the campaign is that every donation will be multiplied by four, significantly increasing the impact of each contribution.
Donations can be made through the Charidy platform at https://www.charidy.com/beithalochembrasil.
The campaign strengthens the work of Beit Halochem, an Israeli organization dedicated to recovery, care, and social reintegration of individuals who have suffered physical injuries and psychological trauma as a result of wars and terrorist attacks.
The organization’s mission has gained even greater relevance in the aftermath of the October 7, 2023 attacks and the subsequent war, which left thousands of people facing physical and emotional challenges requiring specialized care.
This year’s campaign coincides with a special visit to Brazil by three actors from the internationally acclaimed Netflix series Fauda: Yaakov Zada Daniel (Eli), Tsahi Halevi (Naor), and Meirav Shirom (Dana). Their presence is particularly meaningful as they will be joined by three Israeli soldiers wounded in combat and supported by Beit Halochem, whose real-life experiences mirror the struggles depicted in the series. This meeting bridges fiction and reality, highlighting the resilience of those rebuilding their lives after war.
Known as “The House of the Combatant,” Beit Halochem provides individualized treatments led by multidisciplinary teams, including physiotherapy, hydrotherapy, physical strengthening, psychological support, and activities designed to restore autonomy and quality of life. The institution operates five rehabilitation centers across Israel.
Over 500,000 treatments and activities annually
The scale of Beit Halochem’s work is reflected in its annual figures:
- 85,000 physiotherapy treatments
- 55,000 hydrotherapy sessions
- 350,000 gym-based strengthening sessions
- 9,000 post-trauma therapy sessions
- 950 educational scholarships
In addition, the organization offers around 450 different therapies and activities that foster physical, emotional, and social recovery. Beyond medical care, Beit Halochem supports beneficiaries in resuming studies, rebuilding careers, strengthening family ties, and regaining independence.
Solidarity multiplied by four
Under the motto “Your donation is worth 4X”, the campaign seeks to mobilize the Brazilian community in support of expanding rehabilitation programs. During the initiative, each contribution will be quadrupled—for example, a donation of R100willrepresentR400 for the campaign.
Funds raised will sustain treatments and assistance programs, helping wounded soldiers and terror victims rebuild their lives.
