Blacks vs Jews in the USA

February 2021: Michael Che, who is black and is a co-anchor of NBC’s  Saturday Night Live “Weekend Update,” said during an episode: “Israel is reporting that they’ve vaccinated half of their population, and I’m gonna guess it’s the Jewish half.”

The fact is that it is highly unlikely that anyone on a major US TV network would in 2021 publicly single out any other minority – black, transgender, latino, what have you.

It does appear to the the case, generally unstated, that  black personalities now appear to be in the avant garde of Jew hatred in the USA. Louis Farrakhan is the high profile Jew hater of the moment. There are others. Temple University professor Marc Lamont Hill was fired from CNN in November 2018 for his clarion call to destroy the Jewish state. The list grows. It seems to matter not that Jews were in the forefront of the battle for Black civil rights in the 1950s and 1960s.

In the summer of 2016 a coalition that grew out of the Black Lives Matter movement endorsed the Boycott, Divestment and Sanctions camp claiming Israel was an “apartheid state” that perpetrated “genocide” against the Palestinian people.

There is a history.

In April, 1967 James Baldwin said in a piece in The New York Times that “negroes” were anti-semitic because they were anti-white, in 1988 that “the American Jew in this country is essentially a white man.” One is left to wonder. The Jerusalem Post reported that on New Year’s Day, 2020 in the Williamsburg section of Brooklyn a 22-year old Hasidic man was jostled by two black women who screamed “fuck you Jew” and  “I will kill you” at him. Didn’t scream “fuck you whitey”. Back in 1984 Jesse Jackson was quoted by a Black reporter as having referred to New York City as “Hymietown” not Whiteytown.

Al Sharpton’s involvement in incidents involving Jews in Harlem and Crown Heights has been problematic. The Reverend emerges from these incidents less a Jew hater than a slick, careerist manipulator of Jew hatred.

As Jews are “flattened into white people” the Holocaust becomes merely a case of white on white crime.

In February 2021 American academic Marc Lamont Hill who called for a  Palestine “from the river to the sea,” a euphemism for  the destruction of  the Jewish state, told a virtual discussion hosted by the Democratic Socialists of America (DSA) that the Black Lives Matter movement supports the “dismantling of the Zionist project.”

In December 2018 The New York Times published what was described as author Alice Walker’s “unqualified recommendation for an violently antisemitic book And the Truth Shall Set You Free by David Icke that repeatedly cites the ‘Protocols of the Elders of Zion,’ labels the Talmud as “among the most appallingly racist documents on the planet” and claims Jews funded the Holocaust and control the KKK.

Walker is a Protocols fan. This despite her Yeshiva grad husband. She seems to be playing on the same team as

U S Representative Marjorie Taylor Greene who in a November 2018 Facebook post claimed that the wildfires in California were started by Pacific Gas and Electric Company in conjunction with the Rothschilds, using a space laser.

US House of Representatives Democrat Whip Rep. James Clyburn (D-SC) claimed Jew hating colleague Rep. Ilhan Omar (D-MN) ranked above Jews on the pyramid of victimhood, that her time in a Kenyan refugee camp was of greater significance  – more empirical, more powerful – than the Holocaust experiences of Jews. Drew a national shrug.

Ami Horowitz found that some folks in Ilhan Omar’s congressional Minneapolis district believe that Jews are responsible for the spread of the Corona virus: “Those people are heartless. They do all kinds of stuff.” There is no evidence that Representative Omar made any effort in her district to address that calumny.
